Air ducts mainly refer to the ventilation ducts of the central air conditioning system, which are often overlooked but are an important component of the air conditioning system. Currently, there are four common types of air ducts:
1) Galvanized thin steel plate air duct
2) Inorganic fiberglass air duct
3) Composite fiberglass board air duct
4) Fiber fabric air duct
Galvanized thin steel plate air duct: One of the earliest air ducts used, made of galvanized thin steel plate, suitable for the transportation of general gases with low moisture content. It is prone to rusting, has no insulation and noise reduction functions, and has a long production and installation cycle.
Inorganic fiberglass air duct: A relatively new type of air duct, made of glass fiber reinforced inorganic materials. It is non combustible when exposed to fire, corrosion-resistant, heavy in weight, high in hardness but brittle, easily deformed and cracked due to its own weight. It has no insulation or noise reduction performance, and has a long production and installation cycle.
Composite fiberglass board air duct: in recent years, the type of air duct uses centrifugal fiberglass board as the base material, glass fiber cloth inside, and moisture resistant aluminum foil cloth outside (the imported plate is internally coated with thermosensitive black acrylic polymer, and the outer layer is thin woven cloth/aluminum foil/Kraft paper), which is made by cutting, grooving, bonding and strengthening after composite drying with fireproof adhesive, and appropriate reinforcement measures are taken according to the section size and wind pressure of the air duct.
Fiber fabric air duct: also known as bag air duct, fabric air duct, fiber fabric air duct, and fiber fabric air distributor, it is the latest type of air duct and a flexible air distribution system made of special fibers. It is a supply air terminal system that replaces traditional supply air ducts, air valves, diffusers, insulation materials, etc. It is a unique air outlet system that relies mainly on fiber infiltration and orifice jet to evenly distribute air. Equipped with surface style air outlet, with high air volume and no blowing sensation Uniform distribution of overall air supply Anti condensation Easy to clean and maintain, healthy and environmentally friendly Beautiful and high-end, with diverse colors and outstanding personalization Lightweight, with negligible roof load The system runs quietly, improves environmental quality, and is easy to install, shortening the project cycle Flexible installation, reusable The system has various advantages such as comprehensive cost savings and high cost-effectiveness.
